ok this got nasty quick.

I do NOT do drugs, I do not smoke (quit 14 years ago), I do not even drink on a regular basis, and I am not a slut. I have been happily married for 14 years. We have great kids that we support on our own; no government assistance so don't give me that BS either. And my kids aren't running the streets getting into trouble either. They are well behaved, smart, disciplined children that I am very proud of. And the last time I checked, it was not YOUR decision how many children I have. Who knows, maybe that last child of mine will be the one to find the cure for cancer, anything is possible. When you have the brain cells to pull your head out of your own ass maybe you'll realize what a ****you are being.

as a matter of fact my kids get a's in science. they have chemistry sets, microscopes, telescopes, not to mention science encyclopedias galore that they enjoy. they asked for these things, too, so it's not like we're forcing this on them

I don't see that it is anybody's business how many kids you have.
I hope they are taking care of you.
How many DO you have, anyway?

(and I think they were just kidding about the drugs, and nobody called you a whore)

PEACE.

I think that's great. Not enough kids have interest in the sciences, they're too busy studying Paris Hilton and Wicked. Please encourage one of your kids to work on cancer cures.

sue between hubby & myself we have 12, some of which are adopted. and when pj makes a smart-ass comment about someone putting me to bed, that's sure what it sounded like.

namo- one of my kids has already decided that's his goal in life. he wants to cure cancer and several other diseases he's heard about (ms, lou gehrig's, alzheimers, etc)

I didn't take PJ's comment that way, but who knows.
12 KIDS????? Oh, my. Is it really cheaper by the dozen?

You should probably encourage him to focus on one, and not spread himself too thin. Each breakthrough in one area seems to cause breakthroughs in other areas. If he works on cancer, MS, ALS, and Alzheimers , he might get frustrated before he gets too far in either one effort and then where will we be?

in some ways it is cheaper by the dozen, since i have mostly boys, they share some clothes and they help each other with schoolwork. I even homeschooled them for a while. in other ways no, because you still have to make sure they all have school supplies, and the necessities of life. they share rooms so it's not like we'd need a bigger house. we have 5 bedrooms as it is. plus some do not live with us (my step-kids).

and namo- he realizes this. we didn't even have to tell him. this kid is so organized he has his life planned out and he's only 13. He's going to work on cancer first he says (all the little kids with cancer really bother him) then MS, then ALS, then Alzheimers.

Homeschooled? Well, there goes that cancer cure.

What would ever compel and obviously smart and savvy gal like yourself to do such a thing as homeschool, even for a little while?

it was actually homeschooling through the school district as a charter school. they got schoolwork through the internet from the school which they did and were tested on daily. and i did it because the schools that they were assigned to were not educating or protecting my children like they should have been. and it didn't even last a year. we moved so they would be in better schools. the schools where we live now are excellent nationally recognized schools that exceed the previous schools by approximately 2 years and my children were able to make the transition with no problems. as a matter of fact my 5 year old is about two years ahead

That was a joke because some parent pulled their kid and sued is suing the Chicago school district because a sub showed that movie to the 6th (I think it was 6th) grade class.

nah by 6th grade they need to know, 3rd grade i mighta bitched out the principal. but i wouldn't have pulled them out for that. but when my children are physically attacked at school when teachers, paras, and the rest of the staff had already been warned about this set of twins, i have a problem with it
