Well, the article makes it clear that nothing happened to the guy in the kayak, the shark followed for a bit and then went back to whatever else it is sharks do.
I'd still be running on top of the water in sheer terror, like Scooby and Shaggy used to do when confronted with a spooky ghost.

One thing I didnt understand upon seeing this the first time...They describe the length of the boat and the shark as being quite close, but the picture makes the shark look much bigger.
Another picture is referenced in the description that is much scarier, tho very fake.
