I think I heard Meredith say that this was going to be a "scripted" dialouge on the Today Show while I was putting on my snow boots this morning? Is that true?

i'm following it on twitter...until it crashes under the weight of the #hcs tweets.

I'm listening on the Stephanie Miller show. Pretty entertaining.

Cantor and McCain look like one step above o Moron.

Grumpy still looks grumpy, and Cantor looks like a idiot with his props.

I thought Coburn made some good points.

If the GOP continues to limit the scope of what they would consider to include only tort reform and tax credits, they can't be taken seriously.

Did John Boehner crash it like he said he was going to? Did he wear a lampshade on his head?

And I have to say, as much as I find him to be a repugnant human being, my god, is Eric Cantor sexy.

Eric Cantor is too sexy for his voting record:

* Voted NO on prohibiting job discrimination based on sexual orientation. (Nov 2007)

* Voted YES on Constitutionally defining marriage as one-man-one-woman. (Jul 2006)

* Voted YES on Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage. (Sep 2004)

* Rated 7% by the ACLU, indicating an anti-civil rights voting record. (Dec 2002)

* Rated 0% by the HRC, indicating an anti-gay-rights stance. (Dec 2006)

* Rated 19% by the NAACP, indicating an anti-affirmative-action stance. (Dec 2006)

* Amend Constitution to define traditional marriage. (Jun 2008 )

Big waste of time. Republicans make some suggestions, Obama doesn't know what he's talking about but lectures the room from his perch of know-it-all-ism.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I thought he wasn't going to be lecturing. Like negotiating with North Korea, the Republicans want a big table.

And what have the Republicans brought to the discussion, besides wanting to gut Medicare?

Goth could you please give some examples of when Obama didn't know what he was talking about? I haven't been able to hear every minute so i missed the parts where he didn't know what he was talking about.

Tort reform!!! Don't you realize, tort reform is the panacea? Just ask the folks in states like California, where they've enacted tort reform, and the state's largest insurer is hitting policyholders with a rate increase of > 30%.

I found this VERY helpful chart at thePoliticalCarnival.Net to help you follow the debate- it was drawn specifically to illustrate whether Eric cantor "got told" but could also help to determine whether John McCain did also. (Yes.)
