Just in case you needed to know:

After any subsequent dead ball, the only way the ball may become live is to resume play by a jump ball, by a throw-in or by placing it at the disposal of a free-thrower.

When officials are in doubt as to who last touched the ball and the alternating-possession procedure has not been established, a jump-ball shall take place between the two involved players.
