hey everyone! i just joined this board so i thought i'd introduce myself.

my name is annie, i live in atlanta, but im from new jersey (right outside the city.) im going to an arts boarding school in boston next year to study theatre, ill be in my junior year (im 16.) uh... my favorite show (of the moment) is wicked. but everyones been obsessed with wicked, so thats probably not a big surprise to anyone.

what else is there to say? um... i want to be on broadway when i grow up, but it will be a little hard for me to get lead roles in modern plays, seeing as im a true lyric soprano. but ill work on my belting haha

everyone meaning, everyone i know thats in the slightest bit interested in broadway has been at some point incredibly obsessed with wicked.

Welcome!!!! I am in the same pickle as you are about the voice. I am a real soprano but I have learned to belt. Keep with it and just relax into it. That's what I did. PM me anytime.

You will see that not everyone likes Wicked around here pretty quickly.
