Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:28pmI am sure nobody on these boards have a problem with this subject. However, I was on this allexperts site the other day and sent the "wrong" question to this Christian group. They got all angry and offended because i asked them a question about this guy and his boyfriend. Any oppinions on this?

That happens sometimes-- Like when Dakin asked the board if Ronald Reagan should be cannonized. Just call everyone an idiot and move on, like he does!

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:33pmHe was asking opinions on the Christian group getting upset?! What a strange question. Anyway, they're free to get upset if they want, I suppose.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:36pmYeah, well i didn't ignore them. I replied with a lot of pointless questions about god. Like, if when Jesus broke the bread, was it warm? And was the fish cooked? They sent an auto reply saying that they cannot answer my question. It just bugs me when they say that you can ask "any" question; then when they get somthing against their beliefs, they run away. I want people's oppinion on homosexuality period. I really want to discuss this topic with someone that dissagrees with it.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:38pmIt is mostly broadway message boards. I don't think anyone who has a problem with homosexuality is a Broadway fan.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:42pmWell, that's a very close-minded and stereotypical viewpoint, Becoz.
#13re: homosexuality
Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:44pmI agree that it is close minded, but I assumed the same thing at first. ThenI thought about it, and changed my mind.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:44pmAgreed, JohnBoy. I know a number of theatre people who disagree with homosexuality.

Same here, justagirl. That is why I decided to post this. I just cant seem to get anyone to explain why they are against it. It is almost like they cant justify it without using the bible as a sheild. Then again that is how a lot of people justify the way they live. "Because the bible says so"

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:48pmThat was just what I thought. I didn't think there was a lot of people out there who dissapproved of homosexuality and were Broadway fans. I've met many people who enjoy theater as much as I do and, none of them had a problem with homosexuality.

#19re: homosexuality
Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:55pmI guess you could say it that way.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 4:56pmI always wonder if those homophobic Broadway fans are so blind as to not realize just how many gay people are responsible for the art they love so much.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 5:05pmI feel that what they do, they should keep it behind closed doors. They want to live that way, that's their business. But don't expect to announce it to the world and expect people(in general) to accept it like it's normal.

Posted: 10/27/06 at 5:09pmIn these days it is normal! You cant go anywhere (except MAYBE church) and not find atleast one homosexual. Me, myself, I am strait. There is no way that you can still say that homosexuality is not normal. All because you don't agree does not make it "not normal" For you to say they should keep it behind closed doors is WRONG. So what if you or other people do not agree with the way they are! I dont tell you to keep you religion behind closed doors, and i don't agree with it. So what is the difference??
