especially since i have absolutely no evidence to back this up, but i think there will be a terrorist attack within the continental united states tonight.

i mean, zawahiri comes out and says, "oh no we're not gonna attack americans in america, doesn't do us any good." then osama starts releasing practically a tape a day for the last week or so.

it's alarmist and it's based on nothing but a gut instinct (which in the case of attacks since 9/11 has been proven wrong again and again), but there it is.

Well, honey, we all always knew you were out of your head.

I can't say it's totally outside the realm of possibility, but it is never really outside the realm of possibility. And Osama's tape releases haven't really been linked to attacks in the past, so I wouldn't say that really concerns me all that much.

If you're right, you'll have major bragging rights though not under the most positive circumstances.

What ever happened to the Color Alert System, anyway? It seems like it just disappeared as soon as George was re-elected.

But that aside, Independence Day is a day that *begs* for a terrorist attack. And papa's right, we've been hearing a lot from Osama lately. (Good thing that we've downgraded his importance, eh?)

Anyway, I've had times where I felt the way papa describes himself as feeling. I happen to have been wrong, but it was a powerful feeling that all was not right. I hope you're wrong, too, papa. But it doesn't make it any easier in the mean time. But

For what it's worth, I won't be one of the people making fun of you for it tomorrow.

I'm kinda glad I decided to blow off the fireworks...of course that had more to do with the storm and the traffic than anything else.

I <3 my giant green crayon bank that was a left over prop from the theater camp I was working at...which mind you I attempted to give to Idina Menzel during Bryant Park that day, but I wanted to watch the naked boys, and Idina was gone by then. If I only had the damned crayon in the wee hours in the morning when I saw her. My anal retentive mother didn't know I let the crayon roll down the grass and dirt in the park, and I errrm brought it to the bathroom in Starbucks, or else it wouldn't be sitting next to my computer table right now.

Errrrm, sorry for my poorly written run on sentence.

And well...I have this insane need to knock on wood surfaces now. I'll be on my way.

I just don't see a terrorist attack happening on any major "American" holidays. It's way too obvious, and our country's security is heightened during these times anyway.

If anything... (God forbid)... it's going to be another "non-event" day, like Sept. 11th.

Not exactly breaking news, it happened over 6 hours ago. It was a test launch and it was pretty unsuccessful.

I know I'm going back a couple of messages, but I think the fireworks could be a good cover if they do atack on a holiday, this would be the one.
