i just found out that my friend caitlin passed away last tuesday. she was very sick and had mast cell disease and her body just shut down. no one i know loved life more than caitlin. she had these big plans to get married one day and adpot a baby from russia. she wanted to do missionary work but was too sick to even leave her house for long periods of time. she had more faith than anyone i ever met. she was thankful for every day she had on this planet, even the days where she felt so crummy she couldn't even lift her head up. we had plans to go to starbucks and eat ice chips, since that was the only thing she could eat. i'll be going there with a friend of ours to do so in memory of her. she has just started a video bible college at home and was so excited to finally be able to be in college. she left this earth at age 22.

Abba--so sorry for your loss...
...and our loss as a society for what she might have been able to accomplish. It does sound like she left her mark with you and many others though... and it was a life well spent with hopes, dreams and purpose.

i'm just starting ot feel like my mind is back together a little bit. it's still swimming and trying to process this but i stopped shaking.

my friend forwarded a letter from her parents to me with info on her memorial service.
they added to the letter that she was "ok with her passing. she said 'this is not the end. i am only changing my address.'"

It's so sad when people leave so long before their time 
A beautiful human being like her, inside and out, is surely an Angel right now, looking down on us and smiling happily ! Be happy to have known her Abba, as I am sure she was for knowing you. I am really sorry for your loss, but take comfort in the thought that she'll always be with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Abba. I lost a friend last year and it's so hard to go through. She sounds like a wonderful person, she must have left you with tons of great memories. Dealing with the loss gets easier each day, just remember all the good things you learned from her. *hugs*
