Got an iPod for Christmas and I hate the little excuse of an iPod cover that comes with it.

What do you use to cover/protect YOUR iPod?

An acrylic case with a belt clip. It's very nice and covers my iPod nicely. :)

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

I bought an acrylic case, but am now searching for something to put it in. Perhaps a little bag with a drawstring? Every time I put my Ipod in my bag, the acrylic case collects dirt and fuzz from my bag.

I recognize the addiction to being alive.

I actually keep mine in an case meant for sunglasses. It's not the kind that's shaped like a pair of glasses...it's just a rectangular case. It's actually the perfect size for my ipod, the earbuds, and my itrip, plus the charger. (If I don't keep everything in one place, I'll lose it!)

I had one of those see through plastic covers, but it seemed to get in the way everytime I wanted to charge it, so I took it off. It did, however, prevent it from getting scratched.

I use this case called an ifrogz case, and it protects my iPod really well. It comes with a clear sticky thing to put over the screen and click wheel, and you can get a decorative wheel cover and then the rubbery (I don't remember what it is) case. The whole thing together is about $30, and comes with a clip to screw on, which is fantastic.

I use that too, but there's a very thin part (made of the same material) that covers the screen, so it gets kind of annoying.

I had a clear silicone one, that after a month became purplish and really dirty looking. Now I have a blue leather one, I believe it's called Pacific Design. It has a cover flap and belt buckle.

I had a black silicone case with a piece of plastic for the screen that was a freebie from Johnny Walker. But I eventually got a pink leather case from Banana Republic. Then I decided not to use a case at all. Consequently my ipod broke.

P.S.: Be cool, make your own sock if that what you want...just find an old tube sock or go buy an inexpensive one of your fancy. Measure so it fits your ipod, cut and sew. Updated On: 12/30/06 at 04:36 PM

iFrogz are TOO cute. Having trouble picking one. I know I want the face to be brown. (Very into browns with pinks or blues right now, though I am afraid the pink looks much like neapolitan ice cream.) Which one do you like?

I have a little pink leather monogram Coach carrier that I got a Coach outlet store. It was only like, $40 and it's really durable and easy to clean. It comes with a little keychain that you can hook onto your bag.

They're also up on ebay for half the price of what they'd be in retail stores.
