No. Not unless you reconfigure the firmware to linux, which in my opinon isn't a good idea.

However,

Google.

unless i do what? i want to put some movies on my ipod nano before i take my 18 hour flight......so what do i do?

You probably couldn't fit more than one movie onto your iPod nano anyways. I would suggest investing in a portable DVD player or a new normal iPod.

not without lots of computer wizardry.

PLUs- the screen is so damn tiny, it's just counterproductive

and you're going to end up paying money either way... if you buy the movie from itunes, or if you buy the softwear to change the movie format from a dvd.

If it is an 18 hour flight I am sure they will keep you entertained. What airline are you flying, to where? and what class of flight?
