The minister has nothing to do with either Clinton or Obama, Joe Biden notwithstanding....and he moved to Iowa LAST SUMMER.

Obviously if he asks a question like this, he's probably not a McCain supporter...but that doesn't make his question any less valid.

If he didn't say it, he would have simply denied the story and moved on--people only refuse to answer the question when it hurts them.

he moved to iowa to work on the biden campaign. the iowa caucus. you remember what that was, right?? he says - him, not me - he moved to iowa to work on a democrat's presidential campaign. how does that make him anything but a democrat??

he's looking forward to volunteering for the bammy campaign - he'll be the staffer they blame for something.

he's one of yours, whether you like it or not.

and mccain didn't answer the question because he just said c*nt in front of a roomful of people. i wouldn't acknowledge him with an answer either. you don't reward bad behavior because it reinforces the idea that bad behavior gets rewarded. you point out the bad behavior and move on. just like mac did. you answer that question and you're admitting that he had a right to ask it and giving a lie legs.

Okay, so we forget the guy who asked the question--we'll spare the messenger...but the fact remains that McCain has a history of name-calling and this is just another example.

I get a kick out of watching you try to rationalize this one.

Obama answered questions he found offensive--is McCain not as tough when it comes to the press?

He does have a right to ask that question...and McCain has a responsibility to answer it.

nope. would obama answer if someone asked him if his grandmother had ever called his dad a n*? because i have several anonymous sources who swear she did. it's a lie. you're honestly saying that the press has conspired to keep this a secret since 1992? when one of those anonymous reporters is willing to go on record it's a story until then it's a lie. i also have several anonymous sources that say you're really a straight woman named mildred who stumbled onto this site looking for a bbw site.

My partner is trying to break me of the habit. I refer to him as "sweetie" far too often. It's not an easy habit to break; especially since he's really such a sweetie.

It's no secret that I'm an Obama supporter, but I think the guy has a lot of class. How refreshing; a politician that can admit he made a mistake and was wrong.

Not sarcastic, just condescending and wrongheaded. There's a significant portion of every group that's supporting their candidate without being fully educated on their platform. And there are those who have intelligently weighed all the options before choosing their candidate. And there are those that fall somewhere in the middle.

I determined that he was ideologically similar to my beliefs, but also fairly similar to Clinton. Which is why I felt comfortable enough voting Clinton for other political reasons.

(Barack Obama can call me sweetie any time. What what.)
