wear flip flops to an audition? Yah, sorry to start a thread like this but this is kind of a problem...and other people can learn from it anyway. so, there's no dance, and they're nice flip flops, they're not like the foamy kind. And I don't know what other shoes would match with the thing I'm wearing and it's hot out...

Ways to annoy people: Arrive at a meeting late, say you're sorry, but you didn't have time for lunch, and you're going to be nibbling during the meeting. Then eat raw potatoes. Ask people what gender they are,or Disagree strongly with everything anybody says:)

I would say that you shouldn't wear them to an audition. Dave Clemmons (the nyc casting director) says that he goes crazy when someone wears flipflops to an audition because it changes the way you hold yourself, walk, and just overall present.

Remember, you have to be able to move at an audition. Flip flops do not enable you to move.

nobiz.....I live in Palm Springs, CA........from April til maybe mid-October we can be between 90-120 degrees.....and even I have matching shoes.......
where do you live that you don't have a pair of shoes that match?
Not trying to be rude, but.....BUY A PAIR OF SHOES.
Even people in Hawai'i have shoes!
