i just saw a clip of carol channing as the white queen in the 80s TV movie version of "alice in wonderland" - he was so freaking goofy, i especially liked the transformation into the sheep.

Micki Grant of Don't Bother Me I Can't Cope fame write a musical about Alice that was short lived on Broadway. It was entitled " And Never Jam Today"

I saw it & still have the playbill but it was so long ago I do not remember it.
