with only digital sales and airplay behind it - Hung Up - has entered the Billboard chart at #20...

It has only ben out one week...

the video is being edited - the single should be in stores soon

..and it STILL manages to get to #20...

....a GREAT start for what looks like a major chart rebound for the Queen.....

If she tours this summer and if there really are an anticipated 4 singles off this record, people will be selling their houses to get tickets..

Adhering to requests to keep all Madonna discussion in one thread:

Just saw the video. LOVED IT! Didn't think I would, because the previews had been so bland, but it's a fun and funny video! Love the bobbing heads in the car, the kitchen staff in the Chinese restaurant suddenly doing choreographed moves, and the voluptuous gal in gold who outdances them all in the subway cart.

Above all, LOVED LOVED LOVED the fact that Madonna and company are dancing on a DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) machine in the end! That thing is the dorkiest fun you can have in an afternoon.

Nevermind. LOL I complained to the IT guy and he said "That's because everyone in this damn office is watching it too!"

ANYWAY-

Love love love the krunking. Love most of the choreography, except for that jazz butt-lift thing she does at the beginning. My jazz teacher makes us do it, and I just hate how it looks visually.

I LOVE the dancing in the Chinese restaurant, and the "Boogie Nights on TRL" moment at the end, when they nod to the group/line dancing of the 70s and Soul Train.

We should all look so hot at 47.
