jerby, google is your friend. jfk had been in he house and the senate for a combined 13 years in '60. his presidential run in '56 is somewhat more comparable but even then he'd spent six years in the house and was -like obama - past the halfway point of his first term in the senate. of course, jfk didn't have the benefit of hussein's years in indonesia and the "schools" there.

Goodness, you sure are dramatic. Obama is NOT Jesus. He is NOT the Messiah. Barak Obama simply KNOWS THE SECRET!

When he was a little boy he dressed up in his Daddy's suit, sat behind a desk with a sign on it that read, "President Obama". He looked at it every day and KNEW he would be President one day.
It really IS that simple.

I don't think Kennedy is an accurate comparison to Obama- Kennedy did have more legislative experience. A far more accurate comparison would be Abraham Lincoln- Like Obabma, he served 8 years in the Illinois Legislature (Lincoln served in the Illinois House, Obama the State Senate) and then served 2 years in the US congress (Again, Lincoln in the House, Obama in the Senate) before announcing for the Presidency.

So you can say that Obama has had more legislative experience than Abe Lincoln did when he was elected.
