You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.
~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.

It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known.

If you don't already own it, I highly recommend The Stephen Sondheim Collection, which you can buy on amazon.

You need permission to view them, FYI.

Just out of curiosity...how do you actually get permission to view them?

If the shows are no longer on broadway they should be available for anyone to go and see, without permission. It's not like they can just go to the actual show.

You have to get one of those cards, I forget what they were called, but the circulation desk got really confused when we were trying to get a copy of Kiss Me Kate last summer (we wanted the score and a hard copy of the CD so that we could rehearse for a caberet), and the lady at the circulation desk thought we wanted to watch the production of it...so you have to get some sort of picture ID and have a good excuse as to why you need access to this material.
