I don't really know the story or the music, is it worth it to go see?
merci

It's called "Light In The Piazza".
I love it.
Many people don't. I would say "Go. Hurry up. GO" I think its beautiful and sweeping and musically lush.

I hope she's joking.
I caught part of it on PBS and loved it. The recording is on my list to buy, but haven't got around to it, yet.

It's one of my favorite shows. 4th on my list actually. People who don't like it usually say it's pretentious and too Italian, but the people I know who say that are just close-minded. It is Italian, and consists of this beautiful modern-classic music and the story is beautiful and everything about it makes my life completely happy.

I first read the short story/novella in like the 7th grade, and fell in love, so fast foward a couple years later, I was SOO happy to find out about the musical. Plus it's the kind of music that you know will give you some impressive performers because only the truly vocally trained and gifted can handle it (except for the miscasting of Katie Clark..yikes).
And look, if RENT can stay on Broadway for so long, so should Light in the Piazza but...

Mine too!
I turn 21 on May 16, so seeing it will be such a birthday treat!
The times are listed in Eastern Standard, which confuses the hell out of me. I think it airs at 2 or 3 here in Vegas.
