What's the cheapest pair cost? If it's really a miracle worker, I may consider popping down to Seattle (DD, if you read this, is Diesel in Seattle?) to get a pair or order them online.
In the mean time, I'll settle for my dark blue Tommy Hilfiger's (Macy's clearance, thankyouverymuch)!

Posted: 11/1/05 at 3:01pmI can swing $150. Are all of them good designs, or will that buy me high-waist, tapered junk?

I usually get Gap and Banana jeans because I like the way they fit. I've never really liked the way levi's fit... I tried some Old Navy jeans this past week and no go.
I do love the one pair of Diesel jeans I have. There is a reason you pay that much money for jeans... they don't all fit/feel the same.

I was waiting for you to post here, DD.
Those jeans are fantastic.

DD told me about your bad influence, Shira.
You frighten me and entice me at the same time.
BTW: DD, is there a Diesel in Seattle or were you in Hell-Ay when you got them?

I knew you'd post right after me, dearest goddaughter.
Those jeans were a total indulgence.

Tiff, I love that you make sure they're not high waisted and tapered.
Nothing is worse than a pair of tapered jeans - it's literally revolting.
Once in a while you come across a pair of Diesel's that are tapered and have a hideous wash - but usually in another store.

It's true. I can find whatever YOU need. I went to Bloomies the other day to buy a pair of black pants. I found NOTHING.
I'm what we call a pusher, shopping wise. And I LOVE it!

Posted: 11/1/05 at 3:47pmTiff... just saw your question... I bought them in Hell-A in the company of Shira. I don't think we have a Diesel store in Seattle. I usually would go nowhere near a Diesel store.

Elphaba, who says you can't walk around Europe in a nice pair of Diesels? I know I have many times.
Tiff- don't buy jeans online. If you're gonna spend, try on at least 10 pairs.

Posted: 11/1/05 at 4:37pmGirl, you need to buy those jeans from Filene's Basement--fitty dollars!

I'm not opposed to rifling thru Filene's- although I think I'm allergic to those places because of all the mold and dust.
But- I rarely find jeans that i like and that fit well. I'm very very picky about the wash and cut. (Almost had a John Waters moment there- Warsh and Set)
I've tried Century 21 also, but no luck with jeans. I've found others things there though.
