my grandmother...

as some of you know, my grandmother is a cancer survivor.

she beat lung cancer 11 years ago.

today she didn't feel good so my aunt took her to her doctor... they did a chest x-ray and saw "something" on her lung.

we wont know anything else about it untill the radiologist gets to take a better look at it...

i'm really scared. it hasn't even been a year since my grandfather (her husband) died and i'm very afraid of losing her too. i'm very close with her.

this is us at relay for life last summer celebrating her being 10 years cancer free....

she was terrified the first time around. this time she just said "if it is, oh well. i'm ready." she's 82 years old.
she's am amazing woman.

the radiologist said it looked "concerning" but that it was in a good spot (upper lobe)

she is schedualed for a cat scan and then a pulminary consult.

As someone who is currently dealing with a beloved grandparent suffering from cancer, I can certainly feel where you are coming from. My heart and best wishes/prayers go out to you and your family, Abba.

she had a cat scan of her lungs and brings it to the pulminary doctor on monday. the spot was still there.
on the lung cat scan they thought they saw the top of a mass in her abdomin.
she's going for an abdominal cat scan tomarrow.

i'm so upset.
