Because they keep turning the heat down, but mine is the only room in the house it doesn't reach.
I woke up this morning and it was 5 degrees celcius in my room. That's like sleeping outside in the middle of December.
I think they're trying to kill me.
Screw the electricity, I'm already paying for heat I don't get, I'm getting a space heater tommorow.

My room doesn't have heat. There's a vent in the bathroom that's attached but my room's got nothing.
I'm FREEZING in there.

I hate getting out of the shower because I know how cold it's going to be when I get out.
Screw the other tenants who want hot showers, I refuse to be cold!

My stupid apartment only has a heat pump so when it's 10 degrees outside it's like 40 inside. Right now I'm sitting with a blanket wrapped around my legs, sweatpants and my sweater, and I'm still freezing!
I feel your pain! And getting a heated matress cover does wonders!

A very effective way of heating a room is buying one of those cheap vaporizors. It fills the air with warm steam and warms the room up in the process. It doesn't use much electricity eaither.
If you like, you can put a drop or two of your favorite fragrance in it and scent the room at the same time. I usually put in a few drops of vanilla extract or lavender. It really works!!!!!!

Lavender is my favorite aroma in the world outside of Yankee Candles' Hollyberry scent. The aroma of lavender relaxes me and smells very clean.

Posted: 1/18/05 at 10:06pmI love to try different scents in my apartment. Ginger and lavender are my favorites. I also like the smell of cinnamon. Sometimes I take a pan of boiling water and sprinkle cinnamon in it and let it simmer for a awhile. It is like having apple pie without the calories or the work!
