WOW!!!
This has a fabulous JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS groove!
One of your BEST!
The venue, the former Loew's 175 th St, was a former movie palace designed by Thomas Lamb
It was one of 5 Loews Wonder Theaters in NYC (1 in Jersey City). It is absolutely eye popping. This is the way movies were meant to be seen. They still have weekend services & it is worth a look
Norn, you create a world in each of your pieces that is so intoxicating it makes us feel as though we are experiencing the event.
I especailly love your use of color here. Can't wait till the NEXT one!
Rev Ike, who owns the theater, finally realized he needed to fill the seats on those days when it is not in use as a church. It has almost 3,000 seats & it is perfect for live entertainment which it did have when it first opened.
Nornie, in addition to your wonderful choice and appointment of color, I love how you captured the lighting effects.
I can practically HEAR this picture! (I'm going to listen to Bjork all day tomorrow.)
