Yeah! Recognition.
I'd like to thank my mom, the beautiful mrs. ck, my dog, my publicist - who is a beautiful person...
There's no fun in coherency anyway.

I would have to give papa the most coherent when drunk award though, I often can't tell unless he says something, well I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.
Some people aren't much more coherent when they are sober than when they are drunk.
#903re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: pucker up buttercup
Posted: 5/3/04 at 1:49pmI'm not so sure that he's been commiting DWP (drunk while posting). I think he's referencing his several periods of impropriety this weekend, and intermittent amnesia.

Posted: 5/3/04 at 1:53pmHmmmm I coulda sworn he mentioned something about being soused(sp?) a few times in the past, but I could be wrong...the question I have CK is have you ever PUI? (Posted under the influence)

Probably...
I know I have sent many regrettable e-mails and had many disastrous IM conversations with some of the former love interests of my life, while wrecked on booze.

ahhh, under the influence...one of the reasons i moved to nyc was the transit system.
nothing like waking up in another state and wondering how you got there.
to answer your question, son, yes i have been posting a bit more lately after having danced with mother vodka. and yes, it is a curse to be able to appear coherent and somewhat stable while in actuality totally out of one's mind. there's usually a window for me in which i can seem perfectly fine just before the slobbering slurred incoherency sets in. the biggest problem is that the memory always goes before this...

Son/Gunn... why don't you introduce your lovely new-member friend to the papa thread... She could be Vish's stand-by.
You and I can start the put-in rehearsals ASAP.

ack!
Uh... I... was... just... tryingtokeepthethreadgoing! Yeah, that's it.
I wasn't casting a standby... We know you don't need a stand-by. BUT when you have as much riding on this thread as the producers do, they get a little nervous around final exam time. Will she make it, will she no-show... Questions that no one wants to answer too late.
Perhaps you'd like a standing E?

Well I'll have to consult Lacie before I debauch her name in this thread. She is definately on your "nice" list ck. I'll try to explain it to her and ease her over to the dark side.

Then she'll fit right in with this bunch!
"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOW--WHAT A RIDE!!!!""

I make one post full of onomatopoeia and the thread dies. You see Son/Gunn, that's why we need new blood 'ovah heeeah'.

Posted: 5/5/04 at 2:48pmAnyone want to buy a full bed and mattress, brand new and never used? I'll sell for $250, you just have to get them the hell out of my apartment.

Never used? That's a shame.
I wonder if shipping would be impossible over ebay.

Never used, never gonna fit in my sleeping loft. I just don't want to go back to Paramus, NJ on Saturday and attempt to return the damn thing to IKEA. In fact, I think I'd much rather go through more allergy woes than suffer Paramus, NJ AND IKEA on a Saturday afternoon.
My kingdom for a Zyrtec. And a martini.
