what kind of pie do you like? I'm only asking because we're having blueberry pie tonight.
(try and keep the answers appropriate LOL)

Mmm, pie... There's a local place that is famous here for their pies - they make a great Oreo cookie pie. It has a chocolate cookie-crumb-type crust, and the filling is french-silk-type chocolate with broken-up Oreo cookies mixed in, with whipped cream and crushed Oreos on top.
And, if I can pat myself on the back a bit... I make a pretty mean apple pie. OK, I use Wilderness apple filling out of the can, but I mix cinnamon into it, and I make my crusts from scratch. I made one for Christmas last year, and I have no idea what I did, but the crust came out really light and flaky.

Therese, I want some o' that pie! Sounds great!
Besides chocolate ... I like key lime, lemon, walnut, chess ... and if cheese cake (is that 1 word or 2?) can be considered pie,
add that to my list.
I just don't like regular pastry type pie crust and usually eat around it.

I love a variety of kinds...I love going to Marie Callendar's and check out the selection.
One summer my roommates and I were on a razzleberry kick and got lots of the pies for late night gab fests. Nothing like comparing dates over warm pie a la mode!

Pecan.
And, during the Christmas season, Bakers Square's Candy Cane Pie.
Can we get some candy cane pie love?

Key Lime, Coconut cream, deep dish apple, blueberry and pecan...
In the WORST pie category (though this is very cute, but still disgusting) - my mother used to make "Goblin Pie" for my Sis and I every Halloween when we were little... you take a pie pan, fill it with slices of SPAM (take that, David Hyde Pierce!) mix cheddar cheese soup and instant mashed potatoes, and top it all off with slices of spam made out to look like a jack o'lantern - this was my childhood!

mmmm, pie.
first of all, for all you apple pie lovers, it's best the new england way....with super sharp cabot cheddar cheese. try it, it's delicious.
my personal favorites are maple sugar pie (made only by my favorite french canadian baritone, of course :P) and...drumroll please...PECAN PIE. holy god if there has ever been anything more delicious.
fresh raspberry pie is awesome too. at my lakehouse i'll go out and pick a ton of raspberries (before the bears get them!!) then make like 5 pies, it's great :)

Jbarafan: me neither. Once in a while, sure, but I'm not a huge fan. However, pie crust made from graham crackers, sugar, and butter is delicioso.
I was only introduced to the wonder that is Pumpkin Pie recently. I haven't been the same, since...

I agree w/ daydreamer - pumpkin is a must.
There's a place near me where you can get Pie Shakes. They take ice cream and milk and blend it with a slice of pie. They have them in any flavor you could possibly want! Pretty nifty.
