Exactly - I wanted to watch SURVIVOR!

BUT - he got my attention. He walked out and spoke boldy. Seems like he has a plan...

I'm actually listening...
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

...and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is on my mp3 player.

As I read on another message board:

I defended the guy when he sat in the school room for five minutes. I defended him when he said nookyoolar. But this is just ****ed up.

What he is saying affects YOU. It's YOUR future. Like him or not - PAY ATTENTION. It's the future of America.

what is 'this'? And, for the record, can someple clear up how you say "nuclear"? because I live in the South, and people say it just like Bush. Is it "nu-clear" just like it's spelled? I don't see whats wrong with either pronunciation. I guess i'm just a hick re: ::puts President on mute::

re: ::puts President on mute::

I want Survivor on now! I don't want to hear Bush lecture things...like religion. He looks like, flushed now, lol.
A most ingenious paradox.

re: ::puts President on mute::

Yep, nu-clee-ear. Like it's spelled.

And by "this", I mean the press conference, thus forcing Survivor to go opposite Apprentice. Sucks.

re: ::puts President on mute::

Damn, his speech was fine - but as soon as they threw questions at him - he had to think for himself! Poor Mr. President.

Mr. Moron.

He better be off my television set in time for APPRENTICE. I can't miss BOTH shows. And then a new episode of ER!

NBC is not showing Joey or W&G on the East Coast. They're going straight to Apprentice at 9.

re: ::puts President on mute::

Well, at least he had another chance to say "We're fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here." I hadn't really caught it the first 20 times.
"The gods who nurse this universe think little of mortals' cares. They sit in crowds on exclusive clouds and laugh at our love affairs. I might have had a real romance if they'd given me a chance. I loved him, but he didn't love me. I wanted him, but he didn't want me. Then the gods had a spree and indulged in another whim. Now he loves me, but I don't love him." - Cole Porter

"Somebody should be slapped."

You don't know how badly I want to slap that obnoxious smirk right off his face. And if he says "nuke-yoo-ler" one more time I think I'll have a breakdown.

re: ::puts President on mute::

Did anybody else hear him say "We's still at war?". Tell me I hallucinated, but I don't think I did.

And he yammered through Will & Grace. Bastards.

Why do we play with fire? Why do we run our fingers through the flame? Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain? -tick...tick...BOOM!
