re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

Oh, sh*t. Guess I shouldn't have sent that fan letter to Australia then, eh?

Sorry - I thought it was quite obviously a joke.

I guess we all tend to see what we want to see... and I wanted to see a soccer star. Sigh. I am VERY disappointed, but I'll live.

re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

What Rath has done, however, is my number 1 message board pet peeve (just ask Danise). She has managed to point something out that would have just flown right over the heads of a number of readers so that she could 1) INSURE that they understand what was happening in the way that she understood it to be happening and that those who might have missed an allusion are fully informed of her interpretation of it and 2) she can point this out while pretending to take the high road as she tsk tsk tsked the poster for his or her behavior.

That's our Rathnait, bless her heart.

re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

Shoot, that will teach me to procrastinate. I was only half way through my own re-cap of 2005 when this damn "angel" beat me to the punch.
Well done, whoever you are. Even though I think you missed some really great opportunities and were a little nicer than I would have been. Thanks for teaching me a lesson. That will be my 2006 resolution. "Never put off until tomorrow what you could post today."
By the way, my name is SUELEEN, not SUELLEN. Could you change that? It sort of bugs me. And now back to the snake pit.

PEACE.

Winston forgot to mention the grand opening of Corine's Corner! www.corinescorner.com

Post yours anyway Sueleen. I'm sure you could put a completely different spin on events.

re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

My take on the RENT film and on the Hot or Not threads would not go over very well, I am afraid.
Perhaps this was a blessing in disguise...oh, those angels know everything. It may have saved me from really stepping in something foul.
PEACE.

re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

At least we know that Winston doesn't write for Corines Corner, Winston's post seems to be punctuated properly.

re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

Memory lane. I remember Sueleen posting an end of the year BWW Top Ten List, or something like that at the end of BWW's first year of existance. Of course, I was pretty new back then, so a lot of it flew right over my head...

re: BroadwayWorld Curtain Call 2005

Namo, I know you are being silly, but isn't this review glaring in its omission of some rather prominent posters? Rath being one of them. How did she fly under the radar?

PEACE.

Maybe Rath is the author and that's why she isn't mentioned.

I don't write that well. Nor do I pay that kind of detailed attention.

Plus, since when wouldn't I talk about myself?

I like the company I'm keeping in that snake pit.

And as for those electronics to be found in someone's corner, weren't they once classified as "marital aids" for the unmarried?

re: broadwayworld curtain call 2005

Only someone with total omniscience could've written such a masterful summary of the zeniths and nadirs in this topsy turvy netherworld. Perhaps the Bush era FBI?

Seriously, I'll go out on a limb ... because I believe this colorful precis is so rich, so knowing, so full of heretofore unspoken insight, it must have been written by two or three savvy people, not one mere mortal in mega I Am A Camera Mode.

And I don't believe any of these authors have as yet posted in this thread, I might add. The POVs and tones don't match. No offense, posters. It ain't any of you.

So if I may turn into Joe McCarthy: Who ARE Winston?

Winston2 is just some bitter old queen with no man, no life and plenty of time on his hands. Poor thing. I feel sorry.
