lots of prayers and kind wishes for your grandma and you. Grandma's are incredibly special people - mine is more like a mom to me and always has been - for a long time I thought she was invincible. It is always rough when our rock begins to lose strength - physically or mentally. Keep your head up - you are in my thoughts.

grandma jean is a special lady indeed. the older i get, the more i realize what an incredible force she is. she is ninety eight (my father came very late in her life) and yet she is the most forward thinking, liberal minded person i have ever met. the devastating news of the tsunami has broken her heart. her compassion is boundless.

What will be in my heart is the reality of the love you have so kindly shared with us. I am sorry for her illness, but recognize that the physical path we must travel must eventually come to its destination. I will hope that the love you have shared will inform and illuminate the life you share with others, and that her soul lives out the destiny of peace that she has made possible.
Hold her, love her and celebrate the absolute perfection of her reality.
