I need help finding a uptempo song that shows off my acting and singing skills. I prefer to sing soprano but i have a good alto/soprano mix...any suggestions? I'm open to anything!

Unusual Way's a really good soprano song that could do it, but my voice teacher told me that unless you can perform it amazingly you shouldn't do it for an audition, because it's sort of repetitive.

Unusual Way is more of a ballad than an uptempo, isn't it? Gorgeous song, though.

Rosencrantz: "Be happy - if you're not even HAPPY what's so good about surviving? We'll be all right. I suppose we just go on." - from Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

An excellent soprano uptempo song is "If I Were A Bell" from Guys and Dolls.

Unusual way is too much of a ballad, I agree...If I were a bell...a bit boring I think...What about "Special" from Avenue Q, or "Man Wanted" form Copacabana, both upbeat and very funny...

I like My Fair Lady's idea of I could have danced all night...
