Green tea mixed with toasted brown rice? That sounds good.
I'm obsessed with tea. I mostly drink water, so (unsweetened) tea is what I drink when I want something with flavor. My cupboard is full of various brands and flavors.
My big Christmas present this year was a gift certificate for a local (ostensibly) British style tea room, to have tea for two. I'm pretty excited.
I would only add milk to black tea (such as PG Tips or Brooke Bond) and never to speciality teas such as herbal blends, fruit blends or even Earl Grey.
I actually rather like Earl Grey with milk and honey when I really need something that's both caffeinated and soothing. And rooibos is traditionally served with milk, though I don't always add it myself. But yeah, apart from that? I'd never put milk in green or herbal teas. It's just wrong.
