Posted: 11/22/04 at 5:17pmPlans? None this year. For the first time all the family will be out of town. I'm going to stay home, watch the parade and then my "Miracle on 34th Street" video and have my turkey dinner in front of the TV!

Posted: 11/22/04 at 5:30pmI'm going to Boston to visit my cousins, and that's it. It's not even going to be a traditional thanksgiving-- there will be pizza instead of turkey.

I spend all major holidays at my aunt's house. My 15 year old cousin is a doll, but she won't be there (she spends Thanksgiving with her mom; my aunt is her step-mom), so I'll have a book with me and after dinner I'll be curling up in front of the fireplace on the biiiiig comfy leather couch

Posted: 11/22/04 at 5:59pmMy dad's side of the family is small (there's only my two aunts, one uncle, one cousin and my grandmother left) so we celebrate with my mother's side of the family which is HUGE (she's the oldest of 6). There will also be my aunt's annual Christmas Open House -- early this year -- Saturday.... that'll be fun times! Witha 4 day weekend to boot!

Dottie's hoping on a plane and heading down to Tennessee to spend the holiday with my sister. Most of my family will be there as well.

Headin' hooooooooome! Visiting some family/family friends. Should be nice. Lots and lots of food, followed by high-tailing it back to Manhattan to see my favorite attractive man with a guitar.

ooo fun! i've never been skiing. i'd probably fall of my face. lol.
i'm going down to my grandparents house. I'm dreading this day. It's not really Thanksgiving there, it's more like a baby-sitting day. I have 5 little baby cousins who all cling to me like glue. It gets annoying sometimes.

Posted: 11/22/04 at 6:56pmMy family lives in California now so I won't be visiting them. I haven't gotten any invitations from anyone nor do I feel like cooking and inviting people over. It looks like I am alone for the holiday.

Skiing is GREAT. I've been skiing since I was 3 and have gone all over the world. You really should try it...Killington has one of the best ski schools in the country and they are not that expensive.

Last year was the best Thanksgiving of my life. I was AWAY from my family and spent the entire day with an old friend. We had dinner at Life Cafe of all places (it was surprisingly very good) and then saw Wicked for the first time.
*sigh*
I am not looking forward to Thanksgiving this year. My folks are coming up from Atlanta and they will be sure to dissaprove with every lifestyle choice I am making. Plus my father is impossible to please, and he hates New York with a passion. OH YIPEE!
I will probably be checking into a home for the disturbed before they return to ATL.

Posted: 11/23/04 at 12:32amJust try to enjoy the day. Remember that a lot of people can't be with their families, so you're very lucky in that respect.
