Posted: 5/5/04 at 10:05pmI'm an OC lover and I'm proud! I love the show, Mischa Barton's acting aside, and tonight's eppy was so sad. I just wanted to console poor Seth, he's so lonely now.

I can't express how little I care about Mischa Barton's acting chops.
Mmmmmmmm ... Mischa Barton ...

Posted: 5/5/04 at 11:48pmi have to admit that the show is a modern incarnation of all the old teen soap hits (90210, party of five...) but hey, each generation needs one right!

Posted: 5/6/04 at 1:40amRyan HAS to come back. There's no way he can be a father for the rest of the series. The baby HAS to be Eddie's. And next season I'm SURE they will address Kirsten's drinking problem. Anyone noticed that she is drinking a glass of champagne in every episode? And yes, Seth is everyone's favorite character and it was so sad to watch him sail away. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Posted: 5/6/04 at 4:01pmThis show is SUCH a guilty pleasure! I love the way they balance the kids tsuris w the grownups(!) sturm und drang. Like the way they opened the door to more visits from Sandy's family in the Passover episode ( 2 sis's & a bro) I wish they would use Nathan Lane as Sandy's older brother! It would be such a hoot!

Posted: 5/7/04 at 11:50amhey guys, i have to use another computor to access this site because for some reason mine is really messed up (see my 2 way over-dramatic posts "help" and "help 2") but anyway, did anyone here watch 90210 or anything, i didnt, but how much is the oc really like that show? which is better?

O.C. doesn't take itself NEARLY as seriously as 90210 did. The adults(UH i mean the parents) were set dressing but on the O.C. the story lines interlink & compliment each other.
Seperate from this I heard the show has been picked up for 2 more years & I know Peter Gallagher is selling his New York home & relocating his family to L.A. So lots more to come!

Posted: 5/7/04 at 4:26pmI watch it too! I'm not a fan of Mischa Barton...too stiff...but love the parents (maybe because I am their age??). It is a great escapist show. The Seth character is loads of fun. That actor is a great asset to the show.

Posted: 5/7/04 at 5:39pmI was bored the night the pilot aired, so I figured "hey, I guess I'll watch this. It'll give me something to do." And then I became addicted. I watch whenever I'm around for it. I like the season finale, and I'm curious to see what happens next.
