Does anybody know of a good site where I could find information about summer internships for theatre majors in NYC? I'm thinking about the Drury Lane at the Water Tower Place in Chicago or at a theatre in NYC.
Good websites?
Thoughts?

They have paid apprenticeships but if you want to do it for credit they will contact your school and arrange it.
Playbill.com, Artssearch.com
I highly suggest Primary Stages and Samuel French. I knew a lot of people who had great experience at the Summer Play Festival (www.spfnyc.com). Loooooots of free theater tickets plus you get to work with upcoming actors and directors.
The Manhattan Theater Club has an internship in stage management and marketing.
MTC has internships in a lot more than stage management and marketing
Check out the Theatre Intern Group section of the American Theatre Wing website. They have a listing that includes every theatrical company their interns have worked at. Your best bet is to start with that list and head to google.
There are so many terrific places to work. I'm a student at NYU, and I know people that've worked at the Public, the York, Chicago, Dodger Theatricals, New Globe Theatre, the Culture Project, and more. There's no limit to the opportunities you have.
Another good place to look that isn't a proper producing theatre company (and therefore less obvious) is Lark. They're a play development center. Mauritius is the most recent Broadway show workshopped there. That'd be a terrific place as well.
