the entire university is closed today.
as bored as i am at home, i feel even worse for my best friend who's stuck in his tiny dorm room. at least he has a cool room mate though.
i'm so bored i already wrote my 3 page sociology paper that's not even due till next week (which i actually plan on sharing all of you after i get it graded... i'm taking a class called "gay and lesbian communities" that has alot of paper-writing in it, so be prepared for a small collection of essays from me in the near future 
)
the snow is higher than my dog. i'm afraid if i let him out i'll never see him again.
how is everyone else doing with this boring boring day?

Ha, today was supposed to be opening night of my play. That's canceled, as well as school in general. So instead, I'm frantically rehearsing my lines and trying to find costume pieces to use for tomorrow's opening night. It's actually kind of a blessing that there's no show today!
Today's my daddy's birthday, so we ate brownies and ice cream and tortured him with trick candles, balloons, and bad singing.

No snow day for me. I still went to work, although the roads were horrible. Of course, it seemed as though everyone but kitchen staff and the bartender called out. I understand for those who live extremely far, like one guy who has about an hour commute, but I don't think that many people have that.
My driveway is a sheet of ice too. I really do not recommend living a quarter of a mile up hill, in the middle of nowhere.

Posted: 1/28/09 at 9:08pmI'm in Louisville, KY and it is awful. We have ice everywhere and tress and power lines are falling like crazy. I am one of the only one of my friends to have power. School was canceled, yesterday, then today, and this afternoon they canceled it for the rest of the week!
