I literally could not look at the telvision as the two John's sang. It was like nails on a chalkboard for me. I was trying to eat dinner, but that RedHead made it really hard to swallow. And does anyone else think that George acts like Steve Urkel? He really needs to stop with the little girly waves to the camera and the audience. Ugh!!! I thought that Jennifer Hudson kicked it last night. I heard today from some people who worked on the same cruise line that she did that The Circle of Life was her song when she was doing the cruise thing. I think it was a Disney cruise line. Anyone else know for sure? I bet she was thrilled that they were doing Elton John songs. If nothing else, maybe she can do the Lion King on tour or something.

There, I am done. Yes, I watch American Idol and I love it.

Seriously, who is voting for those two guys that they have yet to be in the bottom 3?! It kills me! Granted, I do think it was Camile's time to go but if JPL and John Stevens do not go over the next two weeks, I am boycotting the show!

I agree- JPL and John Stevens were the worst (next to Camille, of course) and they should have been in the bottom 3, not Diana and Jasmine.

If John Stevens doesn't go next week, I'm not watching the show again (ok- I probably will watch it, but then it's a popularity contest, not a performance contest, like the Randy and Paula said last night).

Exactly! Apparently the voters would rather see JPL packaged and recorded in the same studio that makes certain pop stars actually sound like singers than to see certain singers become stars.

In the end, the final 4 HAS to be Latoya, Fantasia, George, and Jennifer. Otherwise, there is no justice! =)

I agree with who you think should be the final four, JRB. But AMERICAN IDOL has always been as much a popularity contest as well as a singing competition. If singing ability were the most important thing, then Jennifer and Latoya would have never been in the bottom three and Tamyra Gray would have won the first year. I think the groups last night were very interesting. I think that is where they rank this season with Jennifer, Jasmine and Fantasia bouncing between groups depending on how they sing that week. If Jasmine or Diana doesn't knock out the audience next week, I think they will go. As good as Fantasia and Jennifer are, the voters don't like them that much. I think the popular favorites are George and Latoya. But even she was vulnerable the week she gave a classy performance that had little vocal fireworks. If you don't go for the Whitney/Celine/Mariah vocal on AI, you're in danger of being booted.

If america leaves Jon & John in the finals for more then the next 2 weeks.. i have no hope for todays children. My only wish for John Stevens is his mic breaks in the middle of song and he cant be heard. Let him go back to NY and do "guys and dolls" in his high school where he belongs.
