Saw it there last week. Didn't care for the movie but adored Huffman's bravura performance.
The IFC Center is indeed a remarkable theatre...

Is anyone else the least bit amused that the name of this movie is shared by a 100 year old Life Insurance Company, whose main marking symbol is a huge pyramid in San Francisco?

Posted: 12/10/05 at 1:34pmI agree with MEF. The movie was good, but Huffman takes it to another level.

Huffman is gold. I haven't even seen the film and I'm already rooting for her to sweep the awards.

She runs circles around the cast of Desperate Housewives (Marcia Cross keeps up in general, though). She was brilliant on Sports Night, too. Hell, she's just brilliant. PLus, this role sounds like the kind of Oscar-worthy buzz role, you know. Playing someone "different."
