Geither's a goner. Someone in the White House is surely preparing a statement to the effect "while we will sorely miss having Geither on our team, we understand the tremendous toll helming the Treasury can take on a Secretary's family life...".
O needs to send him packing asap, something that Bush refused to do after it was painfully obvious that Rummy was in over his head.
