I have a Mac Powerbook G4 that was built before the installation of webcams, but I really want to pick one up to use with it. I was told at best buy that any of the logitechs are compatible with Macs, so I bought the "Logitech Pro for Notebooks" and lo and behold . . . it didn't work. So, I am taking that one back tomorrow and either switching it out or getting my money back. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd ask someone at the Apple store, spider.

P.S. I hope I didn't come across as sarcastic when I suggested checking with someone at an Apple store (and in saying that I didn't mean you shouldn't also solicit opinions here). In my experience, most of the Best Buy employees I've asked for help have been pretty useless when it comes to real technical know-how. All of the Apple store employees I've dealt with really knew their stuff and were friendly and excited to share their knowledge.

No, it's cool re: webcams for Mac

The nearest apple store is 4 or 5 hours away from me. But, it's all good.
