hey guys! I'm new and my name's Anne.
but i've just been wondering....
when you guys go see shows, do you like knowing a lot about it ( like the words to the songs and stuff) or do you like going into it not knowing anything?
I personally think it depends on what type of show. Like when i saw avenue q i've heard the jokes so i didn't get that many thrills.
But with RENT I was totally lost the whole time....

Posted: 6/26/06 at 9:48pmI like see a show first and be surprised. I usually have an idea what the shows are about (if I didn't know anything, then I wouldn't be interested in seeing the show).

Posted: 6/26/06 at 9:59pmI like to know about it first. I like to memorize the cast recording and stuff. It helps me remember it and be able to enjoy it more because I can follow it.

Posted: 6/26/06 at 10:10pmI like to see the show first, knowing almost nothing about it. Then listen to the cast recording. Then see it again to pick up anything I may have missed before.
