I do have to say one thing though - I understand not getting the appeal of a certain person -- I can't see how anyone can say the two people I listed are any sort of remotely good singers - but I DON'T understand not "getting" whole shows like Lost or Desperate Housewives or American Idol. You may not LIKE them, but why is it hard to "get" why other people do?
I don't like wrestling, for example, but I understand why others do.

I agree with Jason, I'm not a big fan of AI or Lost, but I surely can understand why other people like it. (I'm a shameless DH Junkie 
)
Anywho, I've never understood the whole Jamie fox appeal either. Or the hype of Adam Pascal. I like his solo music ,but stagewise I could take or leave him.

Actually, not to defend the Olsen Twins - but yes - they do a lot - they are in charge of fashion lines, toys and have been producing/representing newer talent like the Sprouse twins (you might know them as the kid in Big Daddy and they have a sitcom on the Disney Channel).
And apparently they are very hands on with their DualStar company. So yes.. aside from being teens (or are they 20 yet?) they definitely WORK besides all the press crap they have to deal with.
