i'd stick to being a champion in my old sport, swimming, which i had to give up because of a shoulder injury... now i'm in the sport of baking...

Individual sport- tennis. If I were on a team, I'd feel guilty all of the time if I made a mistake for the team. As an individual player, there would be less guilt for me... doesn't make much sense, but that's the norm in my world. Also, I enjoy the spotlight immensely. Through marriage, I have learned how to share, but in sport, I want it to be all mine.... ah hahaa

Hey, I'm a sports buff, so I'LL answer. :P
What I really want is to be part of a duo- you go through training together, you grow close, and you win together. Something like synchronized diving, doubles in tennis, ice skating pair, dancing, etc.

I'd prefer a team sport.
But if it was an independent-person sport I would choose one of my passions in life... fencing.

for the original question, i doubt i could be part of a team for the same reasons bmeonbwy stated... and if it couldn't be swimming, then it would be tennis...
