I just have to share, from the other side of things. I work in the admissions office at my college, and I get phone calls, and sometimes in order to deal with it, I need to pull up their decisions so I can see them, but I can't tell people their decisions. When someone calls and is rejected, and I'm talking to them, pretending I don't know, it's really hard. It's not like the colleges
like turning you down. It's horrible filing those folders.
You'll get in somewhere and totally love it though. And if not, you can always transfer 'come second year.
ETA: I'm sure that probably doesn't make you feel better. Trust me, I know the feeling. But you'll get in some place cool and love it, and if not, you can always transfer. In the meantime, I advocate bitching and moaning.
Why do we play with fire?
Why do we run our fingers through the flame?
Why do we leave our hands on the stove, although we know we're in for some pain?
-tick...tick...BOOM!
