You gotta have a gimmick. -Ethel Merman

I'm either using that, a Marilyn Monroe quote, or a sentence from Wicked by Gregory Maguire about being called a lunatic.

re: yearbook quotes

For my senior page I'm quoting 4 Jews in a Room B****ing from March of the Falsettos. I dont know if that is an option for you. In 8th grade I quoted something from Princess Diaries, it was a good quote, but I dont remember which it was.

The quotation that sums up my life: "I am not hiding behind my canvas. I'm living in it."
"We don't value the lily less for not being made of flint and built to last. Life's bounty is in it's flow, later is too late. Where is the song when it's been sung, the dance when it's been danced? It's only we humans who want to own the future too." - Tom Stoppard, Shipwreck

re: yearbook quotes

Ok...I *think* taht the princess diaries quote was either "Courage is not the absence of fear but rather the judgment that something is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever but the cautious do not live at all. " or "From now on you'll be travelling the road between who you think you are and who you can be, the key is to allow yourself to make the journey"

I took myself a lot more seriously back then.

I was thinking of using "Point me to the sky, it's my turn to fly!" from The Wild Party.

The choice may have been mistaken, The choosing was not...

“It's our time, breathe it in. Worlds to change and worlds to win. Our turn coming through, Me and you, pal, Me and you!” - sondheim (merrily..)

"Good luck exploring your infinate abyss" - garden state

"Make your lives extraordinary" - cider house

"Maybe I'll tangle in the power lines...And it might be over in a seconds time. But I'll gladly go down in a flame, if the flames what it takes to remember my name" - john mayer

"A person should celebrate everything passing by" - sondheim (night music)

"What do you love about music?"
"Well, to begin with...everything." - almost famous

re: yearbook quotes

"It was a ball,
It was a blast,
And it's a shame,
It couldn't last,
But every chapter
Has to end, you must agree"

I'm thinking about using that for the musical program this year for all my fellow senior friends.
I am a bagel on a plateful of onion rolls. If you know what I'm talking about, good. If you don't, you're on your own!

THe only thing that touches my heart

"To live, would be an awfully great adventure" Peter Pan

Fear no more the heat o' the sun, Nor the furious winter's rages; Thou thy worldly task hast done, Home art gone and ta'en thy wages: Golden lads and girls all must, As chimney-sweepers, come to dust. ~Cymbeline
