10 GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT B-WAY TODAY — Page 13

Well this isn't a list per say, but I would like to take a moment to say how GREAT! this week has been,I mean it's been seven days since the wonderful BW gathering and now I have faces to put to the screen names and their thoughts, I got to PM some wonderful people! My agent is working on something that might just change my life.. There has been some of the best threads in ages, all done with wit, wisdom and a lil' sass. We were visited by the adorable Marc Shaiman, now that is a GREAT thing! How wonderful that he took the time to join the party. Fiddler is looking to be an interesting addition to the street, I for one am excited as hell to see Molina bring his Tevye to Broadway, so as I was walking thru Shubert Alley tonite and made my way to the middle of Times Square (my favorite spot on Earth) I got a little misty at all the GREAT things that the last seven days have brought, all you beautiful people... "out there in the dark" taking the time to type in your two cents about this world we all love called Broadway, you are all special, each and every one of you. I head to Tampa tomorrow to host the Miss Junior America Pageant, and instead of singing "Lady in Red" to the gals, I think I'll switch to "Hello Dolly" and that's a GREAT thing! Ciao Darlings!

10 GREAT THINGS

I heard more than ten great things concerning Broadway today and was told there was a gag order on it. So, everything I wish I could say, I can't. I had a long day. I am very tired. I am going to bed with the knowledge that Phantom2 is a freak who touches himself when he thinks about me..........Did I mention I really dig freaks? That's GREAT if you're a freak like me.

~understudies and stand-bys -- they are INCREDIBLY hard working and many a time the audience discovers someone wonderful.....

today's top ten:

1-- Marc Shaiman's a trooper and i'm putting him in for sainthood (kinda hard since i'm Southern Baptist)
2-- I got the Oscars posters I ordered...will ask Bruce V. and Marc S. to sign for me as well as for the auctions (love Broadway's infiltration of the Oscars!)
3-- Today's big fluffy snowfall reminds me of the great BC/EFA Broadway snowglobe.
4-- BroadwayWorld.com's participation in the Hairspray/Shaiman event...
5-- Not even food poisoning and laryngitis can keep Jim Vukovich from his dedicated and enthusiastic obsession producing the Shamian event (another sainthood candidate)
6-- THE Kiss (you KNOW the one i'm talking about...Marc & Scott...not Brit/Madge)
7-- the anticipation of watching a dvd, of a turkish guy from indiana that plays piano while stripping from tuxedo to NOTHING, with Marc, Jim and the Hairspray gang...let the LOLing begin!
8-- Chicago's Theatre District and marquees sporting a white blanket of fresh snow.....*SIGH*
9-- Volunteers offering to help with the Shaiman benefit
10-- Listening to the Broadway's Best stream on sirius satellite radio at work

And funny enough I DID run naked through Times Square in honor of my coming out, sadly I traumatized abusload of tourists fresh from The Lion King. It's been a few weeks since my last "man-grooming".
