we would be out on a really good book to read in general, and out on an amazing musical. why do you dislike Wicked so much? what if Rent had never been written? Broadway needs more new shows like Wicked to bring in more audiences to experience theatre as a whole. Wicked does that for a lot of people that normally wouldn't see a show.
i don't think it should become a pop thing. people were worried that Rent would be turned into a pop thing, and i'm glad it didn't. while i love Wicked, and Defying Gravity, i think it would be better if it stayed the way it is.
Idina Menzel, Kristin Chenoweth, Heather Headly, Sutton Foster, Kerry Buttler...and the list goes on and onif i were a guy: Adam Pascal, Norbert Leo Butz, Jose Llana...and so on
i heard something about a Legally Blonde musical, that would rock, i agree on The Breakfast Club, i think that would make a great show. i think The Ghost of Mrs. Muir would make a great musical
