I'm so excited, I just had to post. For my Grandmother's 70th birthday I bought her tickets to spend a week visiting me here in New York and to see as many Broadway shows as we can. Plus I threw in the Rockettes and an opera because she wanted to see them. We're going to see 10 shows in 6 days! Crazy, I know! Here's the lineup:
Tue - Mary Poppins
Wed - The Drowsy Chaperone & Grey Gardens
Thu - How the Grinch Stole Christmas & The Radio City Christmas Spectacular
Fri - Jersey Boys
Sat - Company & Carmen (NYC Opera)
Sun - Les Miserables & The Color Purple
She arrives tommorrow morning at 5am! I'm very excited! We've been planning this trip since May!

Posted: 11/6/06 at 8:02pmTDF, rear mezzanine and rush. The most I paid for a ticket was $36. I also saved up my money for a bit. But honestly, TDF is my new best friend!

Thanks! We're sure to have a wonderful time! Exhausting, but wonderful! The only show we may not see is Les Miserables. Neither of us has ever really gotten into the show (though we've never seen it live). I haven't bought the tickets yet. I'm kind of keeping that slot open for last minute changes.

Thanks! Actually, I'll be seeing 11 shows in 7 days because I am seeing Broadway Unplugged Monday night after my Grandma leaves. Oh, and I have to go back to work and school on Monday.
(I'm taking this while week off to have fun with my Grandma).
ETA Also my Grandma knows Christian Hoff's Aunt and she was very excited to learn that we were going to see Jersey Boys. I hope he's in that night! :)

When I graduate form University (in 3 and a half very long years) I plan on going to New York for a Week and seeing as many shows as I can....most likely 2 a day... I am so excited I made a "must see shows before I die" and will edit the list whenever needed....yeha I know i'm a little too excited...
Sadly this trip is getting me through University....Whenever I think about it I just get so happy...
