Hey Guys -

I want to purchase tix to 110 IN THE SHADE for my birthday in July, but I'm curious as to which seats would make the better and smarter purchase:

Center Orch. - Row D - Seats 109 and 110
- or -
Center Mezz. - Row AA - Seats 111 and 112

Anyone with vast insight into the Studio 54 seating arrangement(s) would be GREATLY appreciated here. Thanks! 110 Seating (Help Requested)

Best,
- Mike

People will disagree with me, but I've sat everywhere at Studio 54, and that Mezzanine is just way too high up and far back for me to have a wonderful experience. I saw 110 from the Right Orchestra Row D, and it was perfect.

Don't be crazy! Get the front row of the mezzanine. The BEST seats in the entire theatre are the first 4 rows of the front Mezz. It's not high up or far back.

The orchestra section of 54 is dreadful. There's great legroom, but the incline is so steep and the stage is so low that rather than looking up at the stage, you're looking down at it in a really weird way. I don't know how to describe it.

You MUST go with Mezz AA - a better seat can't be had.

Munk is right: the front mezzanine is the best place to sit at Studio 54. Go with Row AA.

Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

Attendthetale331, front row of what? orch, or mezz?

anyway, rear mezz. does feel very high up, and the seats are smaller than airplane seats.

however, FRONT mezz. is excellent, its not far back at all, you're practically sitting on top of the actors heads.

orchestra is alright as well, but the first few rows do not have much of a slant at all, and hence you have to move your head around a little bit to see some parts of the stage.

in closing- first row mezz. is THE way to go.
