As a warm-up to the Roundabout production coming this spring, I suggest that everyone head over to NYU for the Steinhardt School's production of 110 in the Shade! It was absolutely fantastic! The information on how to get tickets is in the link. Hope you all enjoy!

Shill?
As someone who directs in an educational setting (high school), I don't think shilling is the right word here. We all need to be supporting high school and college theater productions. These productions are not done for profit and benefit the students who participate in them. I think a board like this one is the perfect place to promote them!
Yes, generally I agree with you Sid, BUT the timing is everything: the original poster joined today. So it does appear to be a case of shilling.
D2--Thanks for pointing out the date the poster joined the board. I didn't even see that. What can I say? I'm easily sucked in to any educational theatre thread. Call it an occupational hazard.
No problem, Sid. That's the reason I clicked in the first place. I used to run the drama club at the university where I teach. Old habits die hard.
I know a cast member! It looks like it's gonna be a great production!
I'm seeing this tomorrow night, and I'm really excited. I just wonder if Steinhardt has enough money for it to actually rain on stage. I'm crossing my fingers.

I posed it with a question mark, hoping that before I investigated, someone could fill me in on whether or not it's an accurate depiction or not?
I love this show and would go and see it.
I'll vouch. It's an excellent production, as Steinhardt mainstage usually is.
I have a friend who goes to Steinhardt who is usually in the productions, but decided to sit this one out. He saw it and set it was fabulous.
