You have not seen it? wow! I think its worth seeing IF you live in NYC or can get a ticket at TDF or comps. As a theater musical fan-i'd recommend it to you.. its NOT Parade...its very HSM-esque with a little brain! but I think its worth seeing~just for the sake of it!

Edit: Ive seen it at Goodspeed. We need to trade theaterical experience (ala 'mindmelt'..star trek thing!) 13 from me to you and DIVIDING ESTATE from you to my mind! re: 13

ok, question! so i am coming to the city on sunday and seeing hairspray at 3, and i REALLY want to see 13 before it closes, so i was going to get student rush tickets for the 7 o'clock. what time should I get to the box office? it opens at 12, so 11:30? or is that not necessary? also, if for some reason (I doubt it, but if it does happen) they sell out of student rush tickets, do they give you any other discounted seats or anything?

I heard that it was sold out on Tuesday night and they were selling standing room tickets (hard to believe, i know). So if you are rushing this, I say get there as early as you can. Seems to be selling well for this final week and a half of performances.

Nope.

I almost broke my teeth listening to the cast album, they were clenched so hard. That kind of cutesy-tootsie-"If-I-do-that-I-will-never-get-THE-TONGUE!!!" is almost unbearable to me.

But that's just me.

I think its cute--- If you can get a "cheap" ticket, I would go if you havent seen yet. The kids give it their all.

I saw it for $25 and thought I paid too much...but if you could get those $13 tickets I think they might still be selling (or falsely advertising on their website) it would be worth that.

Its just a bunch of kids on a Broadway stage jumping around and when I saw it, singing completly off key.

But if you like that....

It was sold out last Sunday.

I rushed in November for a Sunday evening show, and I got one of the last first row seats. I got there at 11:40, the box office opened at 12.

When I rushed last week, I got there the same time, although this time it was for a matinee and I got Row M, side. The only seats in the whole house after that were two box seats.

To the OP, it's worth seeing. You never know, you may enjoy it.
