From what I hear only those local to NYC & kids he called back from this summer are the only ones being seen. If you weren't lucky enough to be seen at Stagedoor or any of the other NY intensives he visited this summer or don't live in NYC, then you're out of luck at this time. Who knows what will happen down the road, but maybe there will be an open call at some point. Since housing isn't usually covered in Broadway contracts(that i know of) it seems odd that it would matter where one lives.

do we know when or where the next auditions for this show are going to be held

No idea but have heard that current auditions are for a reading in Jan which is probably why the request for NY local hire. I'm hearing more auditions to come for the actual show.
