That was an...interesting movie. I thought it was cute. Great voices and choreography. I thought the songs were pretty good too. Anika Noni Rose was fantabulous. I loved her. I'll probably meet her. She visits the PA school I'm going to next year quite often I hear. The PA director knows her. She was going to do a master class with the students, but she was cast in J2K and was flown to Miami. I read that neither Kelly or Anika have ever had vocal training. That makes me mad. I hate it when people can sing without lessons. Oh well, they'll probably lose their voices eventually from improper technique. I hope they start on voice lessons. They could go from great to amazing. I'm rambling. Laters.

yeah, Kelly has had to formal training other than school choir. Not sure about Anika, but I loved her in Footloose.


I saw the movie, thank GAWD I didn't have to pay, it sucked. Greg and Brandon made up for it though!

I think Kelly could well lose her voice if she keeps using it the way she does. I've seen her singing live on TV and she sounds like she's really wearing it out half the time. I mean, she has a great voice, but it sounds like she pushes it a little TOO far sometimes. She could probably get that sorted out with some training. I read in a tabloid that she had to take surgery after constantly misusing her voice in concert... probably very untrue, but I can see it happening in the future if she isn't careful.
