What a great trip down memory lane. I saw it and loved it. Long Beach Civic Light Opera was one of the best theatres in LA. But, they folded..........as so many have done.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Thanks for sharing. She was in spectacular voice. Those costumes, though. Yikes.

Thanks for sharing. Long Beach has had some very good productions... I remember seeing a revival of FOLLIES in the early 90s starring Juliet Prowse...and featuring Yma Sumac!

One of my favorite memories at Long Beach was the original cast of company reunited in concert. A couple of the actors were replaced by their Broadway understudies or replacements because they had passed away but it was just so incredible.
Sometime later they did a new production of Company starring Patrick Cassidy as Bobby and Carol Burnett as Joanne. Loved it. Now that I live in Long Beach I definitely wish that organization was still around because it would be so nice to see shows in that beautiful Theatre which seems to be largely dark these days.
